Overview
Bishop Kelley High School offers a college preparatory curriculum with multiple levels in core subjects that are designed to provide flexibility for individual differences and abilities.  All students are met at their own academic level where they, with the help of Bishop Kelley faculty and staff, strive to realize their God-given potential.

Bishop Kelley students entering 9th grade are placed in core classes based upon their placement test scores combined, when necessary and appropriate, with teacher recommendations, academic records, and supplemental testing.  Upperclassmen and transfer students are placed in courses based upon their previous academic record and teacher recommendations.  Required theology courses and a wide variety of non-tracked courses in the areas of business, computers, communications, fine arts, and physical education assure that students engage with a diverse community of learners every day.

Bishop Kelley operates on a straight 4-block schedule with students attending four 85-minute classes each day.  A quarter lasts 9 weeks.  Courses which last 9 weeks earn one-half unit of credit.  Courses which last for 18 weeks earn one full unit of credit.  Some Advanced Placement courses continue for 27 weeks and earn one and one-half units of credit.  28 units are required for graduation along with 100 Christian service points.
